Here’s a business with a real USP

One of the basics of writing copy is to find your business’s USP (Unique Selling Point) and tell everyone about it. Most businesses don’t really have a USP and it’s getting harder and harder to get noticed amongst all the advertising ‘noise’ out there. But sometimes, you see a statement that just stands out. This van for The Hot Water Doctor is an example.

Service within the hour. That would be nice at some of the stores I have gone into lately, but for a plumber! Amazing. Everyone knows how hard it is to get a plumber, or any tradie actually, out to your place. Everyone has a story to tell about how they had to take the whole day off because nobody could give them a definite time that they would rock up. So to have a tagline like this, seems to me to be a pretty big deal.
