A double dose from this pharmacy

As George from Seinfeld says, ‘I am speechless. I am without speech… ’
When I saw this sign, I felt just like George. I would love a dollar for every time I’ve ever seen an apostrophe misused over the years, and I have lost count of the examples, but I really think that this one might just take the cake. And to add insult to injury, they got it RIGHT the second time!
In the past, when I saw mistakes with advertising or signage, I used to let the business owner know. However on many occasions, instead of this news being received with a ‘thanks for telling me’ attitude, my so-called helpfulness was not only not appreciated, their reaction was often more like ‘shoot the messenger’. So I’ve stopped being so ‘helpful’ and now don’t usually bother letting people know at all unless I have an existing relationship with them i.e. I’m a customer or they’re an acquaintance or a client. Instead, I just take a photo, put it up on my blog and let a picture say a thousand words. Because I am ‘without speech.’
