I was halfway through my graphic design course when I realised I was a writer! But that study didn’t go to waste – a good understanding of design, typography and photography comes in very handy when working with my clients.
My first job was at the local paper. I then got an offer I couldn’t refuse and headed overseas to work with J Walter Thompson – on direct marketing in Singapore and websites in Hong Kong. My team won a number of awards but after 3 years, homesickness brought me back to Oz and in 1997 I established Copy with Cream.
Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients. As well as creating website content, promotional material and advertising campaigns, I also present workshops and hold one-on-one brainstorming sessions to assist businesses with their advertising.
